To ride the paraboard you need: a manual rigid frame wheelchair, Spinergy SPOX sport wheels, a fixed footplate, the ability to do wheelies, and full hand function in both hands as well as some trunk control. We do not recommend Paraboards at this time for riders without these hardware/skills/abilities.
With Paraboards essentials, the setup can be done without the help of a qualified technician if you or an assistant are handy, have a drill, and can follow directions to initially setup the mount that attaches the board to your chair. Delivery to your home address will be with one of the main carriers and have a tracking number once sent, and a video tutorial where our founder will go through setup and teach you the basics to get you riding. We got the cost as low as possible to make Paraboarding as accessible as possible for customers who want to get out there and ride.
